This sweet and spicy sauce can be used in place of a bottled stir-fry sauce. It is simple delicious and so much better than most things you will find pre-made. Feel free to make a double or triple batch as it will keep in the fridge well.
Directions
- Start this off by combining all of the ingredients for the sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Preheat a large fry pan on medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and the sauce and sauté until the asparagus is cooked and the sauce has concentrated.
- Serve along with some rice or another grain and your favourite protein.
Variations
- Asparagus season all done? This sauce works great with cabbage, broccoli, zucchini or any other common stir-fry veggies.
