Deli Clerk (Full-time or Part-time)

Country Grocer at Cobble Hill is looking for a Deli Clerk (FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME) to join our family! The deli department is responsible for making mouth-watering meals and tasty fresh salads, top quality deli sandwiches and pizza, and platters. All done to the highest quality that our customers expect.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
• Prepare, packages, and label meals, entrees, salad, party trays, and other deli products
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• Process customer’s deli orders
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company standards
• Other duties as required

Experience:

• Related retail experience is an asset but not required
• No work experience is welcome to apply

Working Conditions:

• Ability to safely bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to walk and stand for a long period of hours
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures
• A high-level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• Desire to provide outstanding customer service and to comply with established department procedures and safe work practice
• A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback

Schedule Requirements:

• Ability to work during (Flexible Hours)
• Amenable to work (18-40 hours)
